A Letter from the Principal

Brenham Junior High is an amazing place to be where we believe we can "Change the World one Cub at a Time”!  We have a phenomenal staff that wants everyone who enters our building to feel the “family” environment and energy needed to create an educational institution where students are excited and enthusiastic about coming here each and every day.  We want Brenham Junior High to be a place where they can feel safe and at home. We would not have a school without the students, so we value and respect each and every one of them. We do not want to just educate their minds…we want to educate their hearts as well.  Our goal is to help them achieve at a high level, but to also be productive citizens of this great country we are so blessed to live in.

I encourage all parents to take advantage of the parent portal that allows you to view your child’s grades on the computer.  From this portal you can see your child’s up-to-date grades and not have to wait until the end of the six weeks to see the report card.  Here at Brenham Junior High, our teachers are required to update the grades every Friday by 4pm.  Through this, you may also set-up the system to notify you when your child receives below a certain score on an assignment and view missing assignments.  This system allows you as parents to be involved and proactive instead of reacting to the grade your child brings home at the end of the grading period.   I encourage you to keep in contact with your child’s teacher and be involved.

We thank you for all your support and also thank you for allowing us the opportunity to educate your children!
