Hello!

My name is Mrs. Hacker! I am SO excited to be part of the Alton 2nd Grade team!  More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your teacher!  It's going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures.  I want to know all about you, but first I'm going to tell you a few things about me.    

I was born and raised just north of Kansas City, MO and I am the oldest of three girls.  I grew up on a farm with horses, cows, chickens, and ducks! When I graduated from High School I knew I wanted to help change the world.  I received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  I then took a job as a Children's Pastor at my church and fell in LOVE with education.  I was a Children's Pastor for 10 years! I also sang and lead our Worship Team.

I am married to a wonderful man and have four children. They are so much fun and keep me on my toes at all times.  We also have a bulldog named Daisy, a lab named Dixie, and a cat named Rooster!

I can't wait to meet all my students!  We are going to have a FABULOUS time in 2nd grade!!
