Kelsey Lopez

Assistant Principal

Mrs. Lopez is a graduate of Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a focus on Secondary Education.  Upon completion, she earned her master's degree from Lamar University in Educational Administration.  She began her career at Klein High School, then relocated to Midlothian and was a math teacher and head cheer coach at Midlothian Heritage High School.  From there, her family moved to Lake Jackson where she was a math teacher, interventionist, then Campus Content Specialist.  Three short years later, football moved her family to Brenham.  This is where she was blessed to begin her administration career at Brenham Junior High.  

Mrs. Lopez is married to Derek Lopez, Assistant Athletic Director and Offensive Coordinator.  They have two daughters, Berklie (11) and Layne (2).  She is  very proud to call Brenham home.  GO CUBS!!

Courtney Mason

Assistant Principal

Last Names: G-L

 

Mrs. Mason is a graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Development and her Master’s degree in Agriculture Education while earning her teacher certification simultaneously.  She began her teaching career in Hearne, Texas, teaching Pre-K 3-year-olds while making her home in Franklin, Texas, with her husband, Wes Mason, and their boys, Parker and Logan Mason.  She then transitioned to Franklin, where she taught 3rd grade Math and Science for two years and 4th grade Math and Science for two years.  She moved to the Assistant Principal role for one year and then served Roland Reynolds Elementary as Principal for four years.  In 2012, she moved back home to Brenham and became the proud principal of Krause Elementary, serving for ten years in that position.  She most recently served the district as Community Engagement Coordinator. 

She has been married to her husband Wes for 23 years.  Her oldest son, Parker will attend Texas A&M as a Senior majoring in Agriculture Leadership and Development.  Logan  will be a Senior at Brenham High School.  Courtney graduated from Brenham High School in 1995 and was active in Brenham FFA, 4-H, played basketball, was a cheerleader, and was a member of the National Honor Society.  She is thankful to be able to serve this community and give back to the place that helped grow her into the woman she is today.

Jamaus Williams
Assistant Principal
Last Names: M-R

Mr. Williams is a graduate of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science with a double minor in Criminal Justice and History.  Following this, he earned his Master of Arts degree from Grand Canyon University. During this time, he began his career at Brenham Middle School, where he taught all core subjects over the last four years. While in the classroom, he returned back to SHSU to earn his Master’s Degree in School Leadership. This year will be Mr. Williams’ first year as an Assistant Principal at Brenham High School. He considers it an incredible opportunity to be part of the BHS family and is looking forward to being able to continue his service as an educator to the families in Brenham.

Jessica Toliver
Assistant Principal
Last Names: S-Z

Jessica Toliver is in her 14th year of education.  She graduated from Holliday High School where she was an All State softball player, president of Texas Association of Future Educators, editor of the Eagle Express, and a top 10% Honor Graduate.

Mrs. Toliver attended Texas Tech University where she was a member of the Student Government Association.  She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Sciences with a minor in Education.  She then obtained her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.  Before moving into administration, Mrs. Toliver coached and taught English and Physical Education.

Mrs. Toliver's husband Jeffery is the Head Boys' Track Coach and Special Teams Coordinator at Brenham High School.  They have two children, Preston and Palmer who love cheering on the Cubs and Cubettes!
