Captain Jeffrey Bayse 

I would like to introduce myself as the MCJROTC Senior Instructor.  This year will be my 4th year at Brenham High school.  We have undergone many changes to curriculum and student participation over the past several years to improve the student learning environment.  We will continue to enhance the program by participating in more leadership activities inside and outside of school.  I assure you this program is not intended to push your child into any form of military obligation, the JROTC program is a service provided by the school and the Marine Corps to improve our community as a whole by teaching children at a young age how to lead by example, work as a team, and learn the value of volunteerism.

During my 22 years in the military, I spent time in both the enlisted and commissioned ranks.  While enlisted, I was a Reconnaissance Marine, Infantryman, and also served as a Drill Instructor at MCRD San Diego.  As an Officer, I was initially a Finance Officer, but transitioned to Intelligence. I am originally from Roanoke, Virginia, graduated from Texas  A&M, and  I have three daughters.
