Jillian WilkeBrenham Junior High Principal

Mrs. Wilke has a passion for learning, education, and inclusion. She has previously worked as an elementary teacher, department chair, Assistant Principal, and the principal at Brenham ISD's Early Childhood Learning Center. Mrs. Wilke has most recently served as the Principal of Krause Elementary School. She has been in public education for over 15 years and finds much joy in watching engaged students learn and grow as individuals. As someone who truly believes in being a lifelong learner, Mrs. Wilke has finished her doctoral coursework and is currently completing her Record of Study at Texas A&M University.

Your input as parents and community members is essential to the success of students, the campus, and the district as a whole. There will be numerous opportunities for community involvement throughout the year and Mrs. Wilke will constantly work with you to become partners in your child’s education.

Colvin

Allan ColvinBrenham Junior High Assistant Principal

Allan G. Colvin has worked for Brenham ISD for 21 years. He worked at Brenham High School as a Resource Teacher, Inclusion Teacher, and Pass coach for ten years. He then moved to Brenham Alternative School, where he worked for three years as a teacher and seven years as the campus principal. He served as the Assistant Principal at ECLC for two years. For the 2024-2025 school years, he will take on the role of assistant principal.  Mr. Colvin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Special Education in 2003 and his Master of Education degree in Mid-Management Administration in 2007 from Prairie View A&M University. He recently completed his superintendent certification program at Lamar University.  Mr. Colvin is passionate about helping students succeed regardless of their grade level. Mr. Colvin's philosophy is that all students like molding pottery; you start with clay and turn it into beautiful pottery everyone sees the beauty and worth. Mr. Colvin’s favorite quote is “Be the Change You Wish to See in the World” by Gandhi.

Will Corn

Will CornBrenham Junior High Assistant Principal

Will is a fifth-generation Brenham Cub. He holds two degrees from Texas A&M University; a Bachelors of Science in Leadership (2019) and a Masters of Education in Educational Administration (2024.) He has spent the last five years teaching social studies and AVID at Brenham High School. Will and his wife Emma live in Washington County with their two dogs, Happy and Honey. He is honored and excited to be a part of the administrative team at Brenham Junior High and looking forward to another excellent year. 


LaKeisha WilliamsTesting Coordinator / 504 Coordinator

LaKeisha R. Williams chose the field of Education as a way to express her passion for being an advocate for all children. She cherishes the opportunity to serve in her hometown of Brenham, Texas. Mrs. Williams graduated from Brenham High School in 2005, and received her first teaching position at Alton Elementary School. In addition to Alton Elementary, she has also taught at Brenham Elementary School. Mrs. Williams has worked in Public Education for over 13 years. She holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Sam Houston State University (2010), an ESL Degree Supplement, as well as a Masters of Education in Administration from Lamar University (2014). Mrs. Williams earned her Administrator Certification in the Fall of 2024. One of her favorite quotes is “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by and that has made all the difference” (Robert Frost). Mrs. Williams believes in the importance of remaining committed to one’s calling in life, and not to one’s comfort zone. She is excited to continue her leadership journey at the Brenham Junior High campus for the next school year, where she will serve as the Campus Testing Coordinator/504/MTSS Coordinator.
