Hello Brenham Cubs,

My name is Valrie Papillion and I am proud to serve the Brenham Community for another year. Prior to Brenham ISD, I worked for Alief ISD for over 10 years starting as a paraprofessional in middle school Life Skills. Over the years I worked my way up to teacher of record for severe behavior students at the elementary level and ended with team leader transition coach at the High School. My goal was always to be in this position as a counselor to support ALL the needs of our students. I majored in psychology at Texas Southern University with a minor in Criminal Justice. I went on to receive my master’s in counseling from the University of St. Thomas. While traveling up this career path gaining skills and knowledge, I have also raised 3 children. I understand the battles and sacrifices we make for our children from all fronts. Thank you for trusting me with your children and together we will grow and nurture the next generation of greatness.
