Dr. Woods is honored to be the principal of Pride Academy. Before moving to this position, he served as an assistant principal at Brenham High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army before stepping into the role of educator. Dr. Woods holds an Educational Doctorate and a Masters degree in Education from University of Houston Clearlake, plus a Bachelors Degree in Multimedia Design and Communications from Cameron University. He began his career in education in 2005 in Alief ISD. Where he held a position as a classroom paraprofessional, English teacher, Behavior Interventionist, and Assistant Principal. Dr. Woods is a believer in education and the benefits it can bring.
Legal Requirement
Under the requirements of Senate Bill 107, 84th legislature, TEC 37.0012, each campus must have a staff person designated as the Campus Behavior Coordinator. The person designated may be the principal of the campus or any other campus administrator selected by the principal.
