Meet the Librarian.....Mrs. Polk

Mrs. Polk has been the librarian at Alton Elementary for the last 7 years.  This is her 8th year in Brenham ISD.  She has been in education for over twenty years.  Mrs. Polk is passionate about reading, readers and incorporating technology using literature.  She is very active in professional groups that support librarians in the state and across the country.  She has presented at conferences for TCEA, TLA and others about her passion in the library and supporting readers in the school and community.
