Hello, my name is Misty McGee.  I am honored to be the counselor at Alton Elementary!  I graduated from Sam Houston State University in May 2000, with a Bachelors in Education.  After teaching for a few years I decided to go back to college.  I graduated from Prairie View A&M University in May 2007, with a Masters in School Counseling.

My role as a school counselor over the years has been a rewarding experience having the opportunity to work with students, teachers, administrators, and parents. My belief is to continue to build a culture that nurtures and fosters positive relationships.  Helping children grow academically, socially, and emotionally is my goal and I look forward to working with our community, staff, students, and parents at Alton Elementary and Brenham ISD.

My husband, Bryan McGee, and I live in Brenham. I am blessed to have two daughters, Mallory Cole and Colleen Cole. We stay busy going to and from various school events and extracurricular activities.
