Mrs. Wilke has a passion for learning, education, and inclusion. She has previously served as a Special Education teacher, second/third grade teacher, department chair, piloted several district initiatives, and has also been a PK-5 Assistant Principal. She has been in public education for over a decade and finds much joy in watching engaged students learn and grow as individuals. As someone who truly believes in being a lifelong learner, Mrs. Wilke is currently working towards getting her doctoral degree from Texas A&M University.
To Mrs. Wilke, your input as parents and community members is essential to the success of students, campus, and district as a whole. There will be numerous opportunities for community involvement throughout the year and she will constantly work with you to become partners in your child’s education.
Mrs. Wilke enjoys spending time with her family and friends (usually cooking), going to the movies, and watching Fightin’ Texas Aggie football.
“I am honored and proud to serve the children and families of Brenham’s youngest Cubs”, says Mrs. Wilke. “Please reach out at any time to let me know how I can help you.”
